Basket O Haul June 2012

Hello Everyone! So because I had a lot of going on in july, if you watched this video, then you know. If not, I went to Comic Con, it was lot's of fun, I will upload pictures from comic con too! Right after the Comic Con, I spent the next two weeks, volunteering at a Cub scout camp, that my sister was running and that was as, if not more tiring as Comic Con, but it was a lot of fun. I was going to try and upload a tutorial before everything got busy for me, but never got the chance to edit it, I'm still going to upload it though, just later this week. Now I realized that you can't really see the swatches in the video very well, so I decided to take pictures and post them here I will continue to do this and them to the video as well posting them here. Hello! Have another FOTD, I meant to post this for St. Patricks day, but stuff plied on me and I never got the chance. Working on balancing things I need to have done on a day to day basis and at the same time trying to find time to do the things I love.

FOTD- Purple Liner

OMG, it's been too long!I don't know if I mention this already, but my old camera pooped out on me and left me with my crappy camera on my phone. It didn't go so well, so bad that my husband took it into his hands and bought me a camera. I was going to buy one, things would just come up and I would have to push to the next day. It is Kodak EasyShare Touch and so far I love it, I'm not crazy about it only using a micro sd card, only I'm afraid of breaking the tiny thing or losing it :( But so neither has happened.

Please excuse the picture quality of these pictures, my camera is acting all kinds of crazy, I've had that camera for like 7 years and my husband thinks I need to get a new one. So until then, I'm stuck using my crappy phone camera. Oh, and excuse the mess behind me :P

This week, my husband and I were dog sitting for a friend of him. I was going to a bunch FOTDs, but left my camera at home :( So all I had was the camera that is in my phone(which is terrible), the camera in my husband's phone which is a little better than mine and a camera which one of our friends brought with him(which I forgot to take off, so I have to ask him for the camera, I really need to start carrying my camera with me again...) This look I managed to take with my husband's, so I can least share this one with you guys.

La Colors Foundation Review

I was only able to use this foundation for ONLY 3 days, This was due to the fact that the pump broke. But was able to use this enough times to determine if I like this product. When I first applied this foundation I didn't like how it made my skin feel, it felt sticky, it felt like my skin couldn't breath. But as the day went it didn't feel as sticky, but still sticky to a degree. the staying power of this foundation is decent, it stayed on for about 8 hours, after that I noticed in some areas it had rubbed off. I don't recommend applying with your hands, because it balled up on me, I also don't recommend applying with a foundation brush, because it will streak. I used a my MAC 180 brush, the stippling brush and worked well. This foundation seems to blend okay, but has a tendency to appear blotchy. As for the coverage, I would say it gave me sheer to medium coverage, you could try to build it up more, but every time I tried, it appeared blotchy to me. Over all it's an okay product, but because the pump broke, I have tried to fix it with no luck, I wouldn't recommend. Maybe if it came in a different packaging, but it was only a dollar, so if your inclined to, give it a try.
