Basket O Haul- July 2012

Hello Everyone!

Here another haul! So many nice things and for great prices. I have been buying so many eyeshadows, That I have over filled my drawer. So I have decided to go on a "No Buy" on eyeshadows and I'm going to attepmed to make a dent in my collection by my birthday. So I will try to post as many FOTDs, to help the process.

This month was full of a bunch of first, I found OPI nail polishes at Target. I was walking down the aisle with my Justin(Hubby) and I was talking to him about eye liner pens, when I saw something out of the corner of my eye that I couldn't belive! OPI AT TARGET! I stopped and walked backwards to the shelf and sure enough, there they were, just sitting there, half of them were limited edition bottles, like this one, from the Katy Perry collection.

First of the many Zoya polishes I will obtain in my life, I love the colors they have, I have my eye on the Wednesday polish :)

I love these lip balm stains, I want them in every shade!

Basket O Haul June 2012

Hello Everyone! So because I had a lot of going on in july, if you watched this video, then you know. If not, I went to Comic Con, it was lot's of fun, I will upload pictures from comic con too! Right after the Comic Con, I spent the next two weeks, volunteering at a Cub scout camp, that my sister was running and that was as, if not more tiring as Comic Con, but it was a lot of fun. I was going to try and upload a tutorial before everything got busy for me, but never got the chance to edit it, I'm still going to upload it though, just later this week. Now I realized that you can't really see the swatches in the video very well, so I decided to take pictures and post them here I will continue to do this and them to the video as well posting them here. Hello everyone! If you guys remember me mentioning that I was asked to my sister-in-law's make up for her wedding, well I decided to get a few things that would help for the day.

Profusion Colur me Glow Palette #06

Another palette swatch party for you guys, I went back for another palette, they are as sheer as the other palette, but they are build-able.

Sorry if you see the primer, I'm getting better at swatching though :) If you want to give these a try, they are totally worth a 1$, if you are just looking for a everyday wash of color. Or if you are starting out and want something that's not going to put a dent in your bank.

First impression: Profusion Eyeshadows

I don't know if this still counts as a first impression, because I have tried their eyeshadow before and I was not impressed. But I saw their display at Walgreen's and saw that they had a few palettes. So I said what the heck, it was only a 1$, so I grabbed the one with the neutral colors. As I opened it for the first time, I see that there was some big chunks of glitter as you can probably tell in these pictures. But when I went to swatch, hardly any of the glitter stuck to my hands, these eyeshadows are also kind of powdery, so that also something to watch out for. All but 2 eyeshadows has good color pay off, some of the lighter colors are a bit sheer but could be built up till desired color. Over all they are good eyeshadows, should you run out and get all of the palette right this second? No, they are not that great. But if you are at Walgreen's and want to give them a try for yourself, go ahead. And if you end up not liking them, they were only a dollar, so there no big money being spent. Oh, while I was looking at these palettes, I saw that Walgreen's had some ELF palettes too :)
