First impression- Chance by Chanel

Hello everyone! Hope you guys are having a great weekend, I have another first impression for the fragrance, Chance by Chanel. I have a lot of respect for Chanel, from their trendy clothing line to their gorgeous cosmetic line (everytime I swatch anything from Chanel at sephora, I am mesmerized) to their wonderful fragrances, which with a single spray, can make any girl feel elegant. Which pains me to say that I was not impressed with this fragrance. When taking the first whiff, it smelled like a generic body spray. This fragrance gives a sweet and flowery scent, but it's subtle. The notes for this fragrance are: patchouli, musk, vetiver, orris, vanilla and jasmine. For a brand as elite as Chanel, for them to put out a fragrance that smells like something you could probably find at bath & body works, makes me want to say "really?"

First impression- pure DKNY vanilla

Hello! I hope everyone is having a good week, I have for you another perfume first impression, this one is for another DKNY fragrance, this is a little tricky because I could have sworn the packaging said pureDKNY Vanilla, but when I look for more information on this product, it comes up as just "pureDKNY" So, I'm going to just call it as it was called on the sample packaging. I will be honest, in my mind I already wanted to hate this perfume just because it said vanilla. It's very hard for me to find a vanilla scent that doesn't overpower all the note in fragrances. So, when I first took a whiff of this, I was extremely surprised and shocked. It's a very subtle flowery vanilla scent the style for this fragrance :Simple. Calm. Authentic, which I could agree with, it's very laid back, not in your face.
The notes for this are:Vanilla, Dew-Drop Petal, Lotus Flower, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine, Freesia, Lush Orchid, White Amber, Creamy Sandalwood.

I could see myself wearing this perfume, the scents seems like something I would enjoy wearing and the bottle could look good on any table or bathroom counter. You can find this perfume at Sephora and Sephora.com and a 1.0 oz bottle of this will run you 45$. I hope this was helpful, if you have any questions, please leave them in a comment below and I will answer them as quickly possible.

First impression- Lola by Marc Jacobs

And another one :) This one is for Lola by Marc Jacobs, second time trying Marc Jacobs' products, the first thing I thing noticed about this one was: sweet and flowery. But this one to be a little more subtle than the "Daisy" one I tried before.

Notes: pink peppercorn, pear, ruby red grapefruit, rose, fuchsia peony, geranium, vanilla, warm tonka and creamy musk

I'm sensing a pattern here, Marc Jacobs likes alot of grapefruit, vanilla and musk. Like the one before this one, I didn't sense anything that stood out in this one either, although it very has a very artistic bottle. If you would like to try this one for yourself, the smallest bottle that you can purchase at sephora, but you can look elsewhere for you purchase, is 1 oz for 48$. I hope this was helpful!

First impression- Daisy by Marc Jacobs

Here's another one for you guys, this one is for Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I've never tried any of Marc Jacobs' products before this, so this will be perfect for all of you are trying new brands. The first things that came to mind when trying this one were: sweet, flowery and fresh. It also gave me the feel like I was smelling a body wash, which was very subtle.

Notes: strawberry, violet leaves, ruby red grapefruit, gardenia, violets petals, jasmine petals, musk, vanilla and white woods

Over all this wasn't a bad scent, but it wasn't something that made me drop everything and purchase it. It's nice, but nothing special. If you would like to try this out for yourself, you can purchase this most places you can buy perfume. The smallest bottle you can purchase, from sephora which was the first thing that popped up when I Googled it, is .67 oz which is 35$, but they also have a Roller ball one for 20$, if you want something more portable. I hope this was helpful!
